Went to Nashville and made some tunes with some icons.
L to R - Weak Joe, Dan Knobler, Mickey Raphael, Afie, Russ Pahl, Dave Roe, A drummer, Robbie. Not pictured with his Tele from his comfortable home studio - Vince Gill; Felicity Williams at corporate head office; Sam Bush because he left before the picture was taken. Only keyboards ever on a Bahamas album courtesy of Jen Gunderman, still seated at the B3.
It’s an all-star cast. If you were following closely, you probably noticed this start with Live To Tape. Gene Chrisman broke his arm and retired from drumming, Brady Blade got COVID, and so this other guy came in to sub. (Actually he’s rad, per his name, Jon Radford).
Got to use this Ralph Lauren shoot outtake I shot in 1997 for the cover. Iconic, eh?
We have a bunch of stuff in store, but for starters we have three songs for you to hear.
There is a sweet bundle you can preorder including the vinyl as well (or just get the vinyl or CD standalone).
Really looking forward to this ! For those of us in Europe are there any tour dates planned and is there anywhere we can buy the special vinyl editions of Bootcut and Barchords in Europe ? At the moment they are out of our price range due to post costs and taxes. I'm digging those first three songs.
